About the Book

BIG QUESTION: Do Humans need God by E. Asamoah-Yaw The book questions humans’ need for God as power source. Holy Bible contains scores of questions, without answers, about significant godly characters portrayed with inexcusable unholy faults or sins. The book reveals evil characteristics of God of Israel, Adam’s generation, Abraham’s generation, Noah’s generation, David’s generation, Christ’s generation, Paul, and several others with their sinful behaviour stated in the Holy bible as evidence in support of the needlessness of God in human life. This book shows over 120 chapters from the Holy Bible that proves that dependence on God is counter-productive, unpredictable, and unreliable; and that quality knowledge or wisdom, perseverance, dedication, passion to succeed, and self-reliance are keys to every success.

About the Author

I was born on 15 March 1942 and nurtured by two distinct religious families: Christian on paternal side and traditional faith on maternal side. At matured age, I began to investigate spiritual existence by asking complex questions and reading every relevant book with the Holy Bible as my target source. I studied Economics at University of London and earned B.Sc. Economics during my eleven years residence in the United Kingdom. In 1976 I returned to Ghana to serve as an Administrative Officer in the Civil Service until 1980. Thereafter, I migrated to the United States for another twenty-four years, where I worked predominantly in financial institution. I retired in 2004 and dedicated my life to research for evidence in support of God’s existence. I have not yet got any indisputable evidence that there is in fact something or someone that can be characterised as God. I have four grown-up children, two girls and two boys, and five grandchildren so far. At present, I am residing in Ghana with my dear wife Mrs J. Asamoah-Yaw.
