About the Book

In the book Father Charles A. Hall's life is told from the prospective of his mother.  She gives examples of his life from early childhood, adolescents, seminarian years and his years in the priesthood.   Mrs. Hall portrays the many times in his life when he showed the ability to cope with his joys and hardships.  This man's deep belief in God and his faith journey is exemplified in her writings.  She is influenced by her son's knowledge of life and her journey of life is enriched.   There is a poem written by Father Hall when he was a senior in high school which many people misinterpreted.  Mrs. Hall explains the true meaning of the poem.  There are various articles added to the beginning and end of this book that depicts what kind of man Father Charles Hall was from the view of his fellow priests.   The title of the addition at the end of the book is called Memorabilia.   These articles portray the human sides of Father Hall showing his sense of humor,  his relationship with family, his love of all mankind, his success as a preacher and his forgiveness of others.  Father Charles Hall shows in his life that we all need to live our religious faith everyday not just on Sundays or Saturdays.
