About the Book

Jayson Spencer Carlisle is seven years old, and tells the reader all about himself and the wonderful adventures that led him to be a Guardian Angel.  From the day he was born, in 1898, he had wanted to be an angel.  His family called him their little angel and so his life long goal was set.

At the age of seven, God grants Jayson his wish and takes him to heaven to serve Him and be one of his most important Guardian Angels.   At first Jay is confused and is not aware of what he is suppose to do.  With the help of Jesus, Jay is lead to Michael the Archangel and his new life of instruction and training begins.  Michael demonstrates to Jay the joy of flying and helps him to prepare for the lessons ahead.

Jayson encounters many different teachers throughout his training and they are all different with special knowledge about being an angel and how to help others.

Dee Dee is a little cherub and is in charge of the giving celebration.  She pushes Jayson along every step of the way, singing and dancing. The Giving Celebration takes in the whole world and Jayson learns how to give joyously.

He also meets Grandmother Patience and Saddle Back Jack.  He talks to Grace and learns even more about the world he is going to help.  He learns to be a Guardian Angel and at the end of his training, is eager to help and give where ever possible.

Finally at the end of all his preparation, little Jay is honored with the title of Angel.  He is given an assignment and with voice raised high, he begins to sing and make his way to earth.

Jay said he wanted to an angel and that is exactly what he becomes.
