In this novel we travel the life of a man who, at a very young age, was accused by his older friend of killing the little girl who was their playmate.  This older boy had, with adult skill, maneuvered the whole event to make it appear that Ketch,  had committed the murder.  For lack of any other place, Ketch was placed in a mental institution.  His life was there until he was thirty seven.  From the day  of the murder forward, Ketch could not speak.  

The beginning of this novel takes us into how a Chaplain who began working in the asylum took it upon himself t young age, was accused by his older friend of killing the little girl who was their playmate.  This older boy had, with adult skill, maneuvered the whole event to make it appear that Ketch,  had committed the murder.  For lack of any other place, Ketch was placed in a mental institution.


About the Author

Bette ZIAKIN lives in Vancouver Washington with her husband Pete and their two dogs Polly and Precious .Her home and yard are a replica of the ocean with floats and driftwood decorating the landscape.Much time is spent traveling in their Rv from area to area finding inspiration for her writing. Bette had a fine Art School for thirty years ,combining her experiences in the art world with those of a writer.Her school was B.Brodhagen School Of Fine ART-located in Portland Oregon. These days you will find the author busy writing . She has published a two volumn book on poetry ,Has completed five fiction novels ,is working on two additional books at this time.
