About the Book

Laurel Thomas has always known that there was something sinister and inhuman about her husband.  Sometimes it is as if he is some one else as you delve deeper into his and the other characters minds. Witness the deterioration of the world around her seeking answers and only finding more to question.  Can she trust any one other than herself or is she a lone voice of truth in a world of lies and deceits.  Travel through her struggles with betrayal by those she loves and the slow torture she endures from a menacing computer game. Read to see if she is strong enough to fight an evil she can’t fully comprehend, but is compelled by some indomitable will to fight.  Will she be able to overcome the seemingly evil games that are played with her mind and her body?  Will her son be able to help her in the fight of what could be both their lives?  Will they prevail over evil or give in to the lure of peace and sanctity the aliens promise?  The intensity of this story comes to a conclusion sure to satisfy and leave you wanting more.  You will leave off this novel with a sense of wonderment and perhaps you will begin to see more clearly into your own lives. But no matter what, you will find her story hard to put down after you begin the sojourn into one woman’s seemingly insane mind.

About the Author

I was born in Los Angeles California and moved to Port Angeles Washington in 1980. I have three children. Living in Washington for the past twenty years has given me quite a bit of inspiration on my writing. I became interested in writing in 1972, about the time I was reading Ray Bradbury, and by 1977 I became interested in Stephen King’s “Carrie”, and continued to read his novels for over twenty years.
