About the Book

Laura Stevens and Gabrielle Miller grew up in together in the spotlight.  They shared stages and costarred in movies.  There isn’t anything about each other that they don’t know, including their deepest secrets.

They live in one of the biggest houses in the world, located in Kentucky where they breed and train champion horses in their spare time.  Both of them are international superstars and have won more awards than anyone else in the business.  To many, their lives seem perfect.  But someone is threatening  them, leaving notes in which they claim to know one of Laura’s darkest secrets.  A secret that, if revealed, could send her to jail.

Laura feels that she is strong enough to take care of it herself and shrugs the notes off, refusing to ask for help.  But when the threats revealed in the notes begin to come true, she begins to wonder how much her stalker really knows.  And when people start to get hurt, Laura decides that it is time to call the police.  

But even the police don’t know where to look.  They search the house and the surrounding area for clues, but find nothing.  With them comes an officer that will change Gabrielle’s life.  Tom Johnson is a hansom smooth-talker who makes his way into Gabrielle’s heart, professing eternal love.

  Even as she worries about her friend’s new relationship, Laura begins to wonder exactly who would have the most to gain by causing her death.  And when things start to become even more dangerous, she begins to wonder how she and her friend will ever survive.  And even if they do, what will life be like if their secret is revealed?

About the Author

Rae Silver was born and raised in New Jersey where she lives with her parents and her younger sister and brother. She is currently sixteen years old and a sophomore at a private High School. For as long as her parents can remember, she has loved and been fascinated by all animals, but horses in particular. She hopes to continue her writing and perhaps become an animal trainer when she gets older.
