About the Book
Rolf, a good old boy college dropout, skips his criminal trial and goes on the lam. He and his friend, Carl, travel down the Mississippi River trying to avoid the police as well as conventional society. While surviving on beer, beans and potatoes, they meet a variety of colorful people including: Kansas City Blue Moon George, who shares his wine with them under a bridge; Omar, a poet who lives on a houseboat; Susan, a beautiful bartender; Chief, a Native American who trained as a medicine man; and The Mangler, a professional wrestler. Join them as they respond to an insane world as only truly sane people can.
