About the Author

Jim Hale has been a newspaper reporter and editor for 25 years. He received a Southern Illinois Editorial Association award for feature writing and the Poetry Prize at the 1999 Mississippi Valley Writers Conference. He lives in Southern Illinois. This is his first book of poetry.
