About the Author
Chuck Homan was an U.S. Navy first class signalman and gunner whose heroic efforts during World War II are captured in his memoir, "War, Love, Hope and Faith." He is the owner of a unique flag -- the only one that flew on the landing craft on which he served during four amphibious landings in Europe during World War II. Following his military exploits, Homan returned to his hometown, married his sweetheart, and became a father and a businessman in Northcentral Pennsylvania. He eventually opened the renowned Loyalsock Art Gallery. An accomplished painter, he helped promote artists such as David Armstrong and P. Buckley Moss.
