About the Book

Did you know that God’s plans towards you are of peace? For I know the thoughts I think towards you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. (Jeremiah 29:11). What is a thought? A thought is a reflection, meditation, imagination, idea, or concept. What is peace? Peace is reassurance—putting your mind at ease; calmness; a mental quietness; harmony or togetherness, being on one accord; reconciliation—coming back together, putting an end to conflict. It is undisturbed; and inoffensive, not causing harm or being aggressive. Peace is a blessing that God has released upon his people. What is an expected end? An expected end is a good outcome. How do we arrive at a good outcome? By believing. To believe means to: Accept or regard (something) as true; Accept the truth of what is said by (someone); Have a firm conviction [or belief] as to the goodness, efficacy [the power to produce an effect], or ability of something.

About the Author

A dynamic and anointed woman, Dr. Allean Varnado-Lang is an evangelist, singer, author, songwriter, Bible instructor and fire ball for God! She has a heart to minister to families and young people. Dr. Varnado-Lang has a special way with the young and the old. Her creativity, quick wit, and humor keep them laughing as she ministers the truth of the Bible. She has many years of experience in working with youth in the juvenile court systems and schools in California for seven years, as a youth guidance specialist and Psych Technician in Oklahoma, and as a youth pastor for six years in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Varnado-Lang wants all people to understand that Jesus is not some far away thing, but he is a friend that ticks closer than a brother, and a very present help in time of trouble. She knows the power of God because the Lord delivered her from an abusive past and healed her of cancer on August 8, 1985. Time and time again, she has watched God perform His word on her behalf. She loves God and she loves His Word and she lives it! She currently resides in Michigan along with her husband, Dr. Marvel Lang, and is actively involved in the ministry of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
