About the Book

A sad story surrounding the suicidal death of a young boy in the suburbs of Maryland. The mother of the best friend describes in details the possible reasons for his untimely and senseless death. She begins with her own son’s influence on this child and the effects of his own personal environment. Eventually the events leading up, during and after his death are retold. It is a terrible tragedy and gives possible ideas as to why a 12-year-old would bring and end his very short life.

About the Author

Donna Robinson resides in Waldorf, Maryland, with her husband and two children. She received a degree in Education from Bowie State University and teaches in Southern Maryland. Although she attended grievance counseling to cope with her son’s best-friend’s death, it was more comforting to put her thoughts on paper. Her anticipation in writing this story hopefully would encourage parents to take a more active role in their children’s lives.
