This poem is about christmas back in the days when grandma was a child in the early 1900's.

About the Author

Maud was born in 1908. As a child there was no radio or television for entertainment. People created their own. Maud wrote and memorized poetry that was sometimes pages long. Before reciting a poem she practiced facial and vocal expressions while looking in a mirror. It was very entertaining to us kids.
