About the Book

A haunting, emotional collection of poems complete with imagery to bring the reader straight into the setting of each poem ranging from both structured to freeform poetry. These poems all have a sense of despair- cloaked in heartache and bathed in misery. The majority of the collection are viewed in my eyes and wrapped in metaphors so deep that it would take quite a poetic mind indeed to uncover the message lying bare beneath.

About the Author

I was born and raised in Louisiana, where I currently reside. I am a completely self-taught writer. I specialize in poetry, but I am also an essayist. My respect for other writers is boundless, for I all too well know what it takes to put your soul on paper.
