About the Author
Elton Hill is the son of the late Homer Hill and Lue Ella Hill. He is the ninth of eleven children born in the small rural town of Arkabutla, MS. As a child growing up he found that there weren’t many activities to do. So for entertainment he, along with the neighboring kids spent lots of time learning nursery rhymes. Then as a tenth grader his teacher gave him an assignment to write poems. He enjoyed that. After entering college he wrote for the college newspaper. This is where his love for writing flourished. Mr. Hill is a widower and a father of two daughters, Phylicia Hill and Angelica Phillips and three sons Lachristopher Lewis, Kiltaurean & Howard Edwards Jr. He resides in Tunica, MS.
