About the Book

Luke Landry comes to San Francisco after the death of his cowboy grandfather in Texas and accidentally winds up in the complicated juvenile justice system. His toughness and basic goodness help him to overcome the dilemma of finding his place in a corrupt system that uses extended jail time as a tool for control. Luke Landry stands alone, makes hie choices and lives with the consequences.

About the Author

DICK EASLEY has taught in the juvenile justice system for thirty years. He has (done time) in all the various institutions: jail, juvenile hall, fire camps, annexes, half way houses, and is currently operating a store- front school for recently released kids on probation. "Run From Diablo" explores the difficulties peer group pressure puts upon good kids in a bad system.
