About the Book
An inspirational autobiographical account of a family splintered and fragmented several times, yet turning tragedy into triumph through the spirit of human perseverance. The story unfolds over a period from the depression years to almost the turn of the century and parallels events in society, occurring along the same time frame. There is heartbreak and laughter, sadness and joy; but behind it all the human struggle to ever move forward, in seeking some shred of success and happiness. It is typical of the lives of many people who will be able to relate to the trials of everyday living and growing.
Critical acclaim for HARK THE HEROLD SINGS:
“I laughed, I chuckled---many times---and of course I cried. I don´t know enough words to explain how deeply moving and touching the story was.” Walter Reinhold, Author, CULTURE 4.0, and Professor of Music, NYU.
“The emotions and personal feelings were clearly and smoothly expressed; the story caused me to smile, to laugh, and to ponder.” Kenneth Everard, Professor Emeritus, College of New Jersey.
