About the Book

Salvaged from over 300 published articles, essays, short stories and commentaries which came out in various newspapers, journals and magazines, the articles reprinted in this book are representative of what Roland S.B. Escalante used to write when he was still active in the journalistic and writing field in the country of his birth, The Philippines. He is also a comics script writer and some of his comics ideas which saw print in The Youngster will come out in book form later on.

The eldest among the four children of the late Bicol Star Founder/Publisher/Editor and Mrs. Domingo A. Escalante, the author is now trying to locate many of his missing writings which he wants to incorporate into another anthology of this kind.
