About the Book
It’s cold and snowy on the afternoon of Christmas Eve. A little girl has been kidnapped and the city searches frantically for her. It is the mentally challenged Frankie who discovers little Heather by accident. Without any true comprehension of the situation he is joyful. In Frankie’s mind he has finally found the perfect Christmas gift for his beloved Molly and proudly takes the little girl to her. Fearful that young Frankie will be blamed for the crime Molly and her friends Bill and The General join Frankie and Heather on the long journey through the winter night to take the child home. Together they walk the snow covered streets and sidewalks barely staying one step ahead of two angry kidnappers. On this long winter night Frankie learns the true meaning of Christmas.
