About the Book

Our daughter Kathryn had a cancerous brain tumor removed five years ago. She went through eight weeks of radiation, and a year of chemotherapy. It was difficult to find books that dealt with all that she was going through. The loss of hair, and suddenly being different from other children her age. This book is for her and other children who are going through chemo.

About the Author

Author and illustrator Lori Roberts-Cobbledick, is a graduate of Kent State University, where she majored in Art, and minored in English. She had a fantastic High School art teacher, who inspired his students in fun, unique ways. He taught them to see outside the box, or in this case, a shoe. Lori currently lives on Lake Erie, in Marblehead, Ohio, with her husband Tom, and their children, Kathryn and Dylan. This is Lori’s fourth children’s book. Co-Author Dylan Thomas Cobbledick is currently a Middle School student at Danbury, in Marblehead, Ohio. This is his first children’s book.
