Ka'lah's Great Day

About the Book

Oh, goodness! The day is almost here! What will I do? Will I be afraid? Will I have fun? What will I do? Ka’lah is a student at Eagle Ranch Elementary School. On Friday, Mrs. Wyatt, her teacher, told the class that in a few days they would participate in a play about farm animals. First, she gave all the children square pieces of paper. Then she instructed them to write down the name of their favorite farm animal, fold the paper, and place it in the hat on her desk.
