About the Book
…the snow crunched loudly under the horse’s hooves as the gelding scrambled the last few feet up the icy and rock strewn slope before suddenly going down. Ty stepped clear using the reins to help the animal to its feet, then the crest. Man and horse both were blowing heavily as they tried to hold their position on the steep bank. Scent checking the wind, the massive animal moved downslope. He was close to the horse and rider, nose twitching as he smelled the man. It was the same man. The massive grizzly moved without a sound as he closed the distance, he bore a distinctive ambling gait, a limp, he was “Crip”. Rearing he stood to his full height as he looked out across the spectacular high mountain basin…a spectacular boar grizzly bear in all his splendor
