About the Author

I am a first grade elementary school teacher in New York City. I wrote this story after telling it to my two children on a rainy afternoon. They loved the story so much that I decided to bring it to life in a children’s book for all to share in it. My cousin Angela Slingo created the adorable illustrations, and my children and nieces were the colorists. This is truly a family story!
