About the Book
“Shortstuff, A Tall Little Tale” is her first book, written in a weekend when an uncharacteristically frigid 13 inches of snow fell over San Antonio, shutting down the city, but opening Karen’s imagination for this growing-up book of mishap and adventure. It teaches the importance of resilience and perseverance, of trust and dependency on one another, of the love between parent and child, and the fierce battle that rages in the wilderness, or in your own backyard.
