About the Book
In this collection of selected high holiday sermons from his thirty years as rabbi of Congregation Beth Judea, Howard Lifshitz addresses contemporary issues through the lens of Judaism’s teachings. Based on his own experiences and influenced by the comments and questions of his congregants, colleagues and teachers, he seeks to encourage people to return to the wellspring that is Torah to gain an understanding of the richness of the Jewish tradition, to find guidance for living in today’s world, and to derive personal strength, inspiration, purpose and fulfillment.
