About the Book

A tale of three adventurous little armadillos set out on their horse Willie to see the big city. Not being familiar with city life, they encounter many scary obstacles. However, they persevere, avoid dangers, and finally escape to Home Sweet Home in the Big Woods.

About the Author

Terry was born and raised in Texas. She taught school for many years. Her love of books and poetry began at an early age, when her grandmother gave her a book of nursery rhymes. She has pursued this love by sharing stories and books with her students, and now with her grandchildren. Terry also loves stamping, playing games, traveling, and spending time with loved ones. She is especially grateful to daughter Jami, her illustrator. She also wants to thank her daughter Jen, for her help in editing, and her sweet husband James, who supported her in every step of the creative process. Cover Picture and Illustrations by Jami Madison Jami Madison is a Texas native who has been creating works of art ever since she could hold a crayon. She loves to draw and paint. She has been teaching art to students for over 12 years. A mother of three, she hopes to inspire her children to follow their dreams and always keep creating!
