About the Author

Catherine Marie Scarpati was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Charles and Irene Scarpati. She is the second daughter of five children, Charles, Catherine, Ralph Susan and George. Catherine studied Medical Technology and Chemistry. She has degrees from Elizabeth Seton College and Fordham University in Bronx, N.Y. Catherine is a retired food chemist who worked thirty years within the food industry in New York. Catherine is the mother of Felicia Scarpati Lomax of Memphis Tn. She is Nanny to four boys Ralph Faulkner III, Nicholas and Stanley Jr. and Charles Scarpati Lomax who returned home to God. Her grandsons affectionately call her “Nanny”
