About the Author

Alyce Stevens Rohrer joined the WASP-Women’s Air Force Service Pilots-during World War II, serving as maintenance test pilot at Perrin Field, Texas. When the war ended she married and traveled to Japan, where she became a teacher at Nanzan University in Nagoya. She has been a teacher of English in El Monte, California for twenty years and now retired, writes novels and short stories
