Set twenty years after the events in Apprentice Cruise, Ryan Lee is now captain of the survey cruiser MacArthur.  His shore leave is interrupted by an obsessed Security general’s investigation of an alleged mutiny on another Fleet vessel, but the investigation takes a detour when a distress call is received from a ship of the evil Saheen Hegemony.

Lee must relive the most painful moments of his life when confronted with an enemy long thought to be dead.  He will need all of his abilities to prevail over the powerful Eero Rasmussen and the buried memories he causes Lee to face.  Rasmussen will stop at nothing to destroy Ryan Lee once and for all.

About the Author

Jack Bagley is a native of Chicago who now lives in LaGrange, Georgia. He is a middle school history teacher, and for 24 years has been a radio broadcaster in his adopted home town. He has been a science fiction fan all of his life, and harbors a secret dream of being a game show host some day. Jack and his wife Runette have one daughter, Melissa. Apprentice Cruise, the first of the Ryan Lee series of books, is Jack’s first novel.
