About the Book

It should be taken as ‘blue adventure’

and nothing more.

On the surface, Flares is

a life from crash to crash,

from mistake to mistake,

from failure to failure.

You see, It is not always about

Getting Back on the Horse.

I dove off the cliff and reinvented myself

on the way down. Tonguetied.

I was unglued and with wax melting,

winglessly freefalling,

dropping airfoils and stall conversions

joystick penetrated and dovetailed,

My little personal antigravity unhovering

nearly unsprung with lexicon impossibilities

catching the little offshore puff

which forced the thing out over the

last jagged rock and into the brine.

All the way down, A shadow, perfectly cast over the contours

of those Previous dissertations from Legit Masterful writers of Unrivaled celebrated greatness for contributions;

Royal and Anonymous, Forced and from the heart, Up to and including

Heroic Short Stories and Novels, yarns, parables, allegories, Satire, erotica, Non-pareils, idiocies, bunk,

Sweetheart poems, Epitaphs, prose, film scripts, Homeric Epics, Newspaper text and Vogue columns,

Tragedies and Gold-plated Classics. Vertical Primers. Horizontal Bon mots. Sonnets and dope rap Idioms.

The bear cub was scared when she saw her mother died in the fire.

The giraffe had a crooked neck. If I wailed, I failed. Splash.
