About the Book

Telluride, Colorado, sat smack in the middle of a gold and silver mining boom in the 1800s, and drifter Zack Ramage was Johnny-On-The-Spot. With sheer guts, loyal friends and great, good luck, Ramage builds the Rio Grande Southern RR, one of the great engineering feats in railroad history. Brute force, blasting powder and blood conquered  blizzards and granite walls a mountain goat would consider suicidal.Ramage marries a beautiful dance hall girl, completes his railroad and becomes one of Colorado's wealthiest tycoons.
