About the Book

Think Back To Tomorrow is the kind of a story that most readers over the age of fifty can relate to. The Book is dedicated to all patients in Veterans hospitals everywhere, and to all of you who have seen mid-life go by and need to rewind.

To all those who are afraid to look back and need help to think ahead.

Hank Lesko is a seventeen year old football star at his New Jersey High school. He has many college scholarship offers, but it is 1942 and there is a war on.

At the age of seventeen he joins the Navy. Before he ships out on his first sea duty he marries his high-school sweetheart.

Although not a church marriage or even a legal one, they pledge themselves to each other. A beautiful love scene takes place in the home of a shipmate in Boston who lets them use his brother's room. The brother is a priest.

It is not until the ship reaches the Fiji Islands that Hank is informed by the ships Chaplain that Edna, his long time and one and only sweetheart, was killed in an auto accident.

The pain remains throughout the war, and through many battles at sea. Hank remains withdrawn and belligerent until his discharge.

After only one year of college he enters the pro draft to become the quarterback of the New York Giants. On a blind date he meets Ruth Johnstone who gets him to think back and rewind.

The love scenes, the battle scenes, the football game descriptions, are part of a lovely story about an exciting life.
