About the Book

Darke Lyfe Eternal is a trilogy consisting of three tomes. Tome I is Adam’s Undead. Tome II is Absolute Evil. And Tome III, which Michael Taylor is currently writing, is Arcanum of Abaddon. These are books about vampires, mystery, scientific technology and research, forensic science, and police investigation. They are tales of sex and love, hate and murder. Darke Lyfe Eternal is a cat and mouse game between a diabolically shrewd vampire and the human authorities who would see him dead. The trilogy books are about the possibility of: living forever! They are the history, the contemporary chronicle, and perhaps the future, of the undead roaming the earth. This is their story. It is Darke Lyfe Eternal! When Dr. Steven Atticus presented his scientific paper concerning the research on a 1000-year-old Viking priest, and claimed that the corpse was the first vampire, the eyes and the ears of the undead were there. And when Harrison Van Gilter crept into Panama City, Florida -- all hell broke loose! Then the paths of the principals crossed. Steven Atticus and the elderly zoologist Benkt Van Leeuwen travel to Florida and team up with Lt. John Willoughby, FBI Special Agent Mark Pierce, Coroner David Booth, and his Honor, the Mayor of Panama City, Larry Hayes. The team’s objective? Catch a serial killer who is plaguing the city; who just happens to be a vampire; and who is a rogue, psychotic predator hated even by his own kind! Absolute Evil is the very soul of Harrison Van Gilter. It is the suspense of the chase, the violence of the capture, and the drama of the prosecution of a real vampyre. About the Author

Absolute Evil is Michael Taylor’s second novel. With high-velocity horror, he continues his trilogy, Darke Lyfe Eternal. In it Taylor has made the existence of vampires appear plausible, if not possible. To do so, he has utilized his background as a professional biologist, and has gleaned information from the fields of genetics, virology, evolution, and ecology. This scientific mixture has been laced with the mythology of Dracula and other vampire legends. Absolute Evil is also packed with courtroom drama when, for the first time, a vampyre is prosecuted under federal law.
