About the Book

Summary(243 words) Childhood - as every one alive knows, is that intense period of life filled with excitement, anticipation, trust and the fervor of new discoveries with high expectations for the future and literal translations of every occurrence. Once having survived this state, a portion of survivors recall the happy times, another portion lucidly recall the difficult as well as the happy times, while yet another group recall only the grim times. I finally realized that age was the great moderator. The travel through life towards retirement eventually led me to appreciate that every life has its glorious experiences, its traumatic moments as well as those off-day episodes in between. Feeling hard - done - by in childhood was the normal state of mind for the majority of me and my childhood peers. Only in retrospect as an adult - having seen the complete picture in an objective light did I appreciate and recognize the overall humorous state of the total experience. As one would say, isn’t it possible that life could be similar to a small caterpillar crawling over a large brightly patterned carpet. Traveling over an uneven pattern one section at a time, with every vivid tint change bringing about a different reaction as it is crossed over and sometimes causing overwhelm with each connection? Were it possible for the same creature if it were lifted off the carpet to get a bird’s eye view, would the overall plan would be fully understood? This is for the website
