About the Book

Through Raging Storm covered my poetic views captured in WW2 experience when I enlisted I in the U.S. Navy with my active duty in the Pacific for three and a half years on a minesweeper with other Vietnam war poems during the hippie era.

I returned to graduate from the University of Southern California, where I received my BA degree in English Lit and Poetry.

After receiving my elementary teaching credential at Long Beach State College, I taught as an elementary public school teacher at Moorpark, California for twenty-five years and retired in 1980.
