About the Book

This is an exciting adventure through time taking by a young black man in the early seventies during the height of the UFO curiosities. Now the difference between this story and other stories concerning UFO citing, time travel and scientific discoveries is that there is a hint of alien intelligence added to the mix, this story takes place in Nashville, Tennessee and it focuses on the main character Jimmy Foxx. Jimmy Foxx was not a rich young black man nor was he very poor. Not only was he not rich or very poor you’ll find as the story goes on he fits somewhere below middle-class. The discovery of time travel you will learn was not his idea nor was he a very excited volunteer. As you read you’ll discover he was reluctant, very reluctant as a matter of fact. Moving along in the adventure we come upon another character, a very curious character indeed, that goes by the name of Woodberry the Revolutionary. And you’ll find as we move forward he is truly special, special because Mr. Woodberry is in truth an alien. An alien that befriends our main character in the story and so the adventure begins. And that’s basically what it concerns. Oh! One more point of interest that you may find fascinating they don’t have the ability to travel in the future in time they can only travel in the past and by doing so they have some interesting effects on historical moments that take place in the past and as a result you’ll come to understand that their bumbling around in historical matters may possibly have directly affected our future. Aw, Yes! The age of the baby boomers, flower children and psychedelic music. Take yourself back to the late sixties, early seventies; a time of change, unrest, Vietnam…because that’s the time our adventure takes place.

About the Author

Well after writing lyrics for R and B music for a number of years in Manhattan, copywriting songs without a hit, I thought I change my style and try writing novels, everyone seems to think I have a vivid imagination. I knew once I made up my mind to start a project I wouldn’t be satisfied unless I put my whole heart in soul into the project and so I set a goal not to write just a novel but to do a three part series. Incidentally the second book is currently in the works and it is titled The Observer: After the Demon Crack.
