About the Book
When Ronald Porcelli completed his last book: Taking The ''A'' Train, he realized a void was left open because the A train doesn't cover most of the East Side of Manhattan and none of The Bronx. So, even though his previous book is a classic in it's own right, this book, it's sequel, had to be written so that the vision can be completed. Taking The 4 Train continues Mr. Porcelli's ambitious dream . From the beautiful neighborhoods and museums of Brooklyn , through Downtown Manhattan, [with a touching tribute to the W.T.C.], along all of the East Side of Manhattan,[including the wonderful and important Museum Mile], then into The Bronx with it's fascinating historical sights and parks; this book takes it all in and produces a sense of wonder that only the act of exploring can create. So take out the old Metrocard, climb aboard, and enjoy the adventure of a lifetime.
