About the Book
“From the View of My Window: Days Gone Bye, Revisited and Revealed” is a compilation of poems that are reactions to events, phenomenon, and situations, as well as expressions of emotions, thoughts, and beliefs. The poems are a collection of life experiences. ‘From the view of my window’ was selected as the title because it illustrates the expression and possession of opinions from the author’s worldview. It tells vivid stories of one person’s journey through life. Few subject matters are untouched. The book is broken up into four chapters; Love, Hate, Peace, and Disclosing poetry. The book touches on issues of dating, media, racism, war, and even spirituality. The transparency in thought is meant to provoke and evoke critical thinking and even action. There is a connection to be made with every reader.
