About the Book

I want you to follow me, and take a look into the life of a troubled child. A child that by those whom she trusted was sexually, mentally and physically abused. That child I speak of is I. I was mothered by a woman who was not prepared to care for her seven children. My mother was a heavy drug user. She physically and mentally abused us. She wasn’t always a “junkie” as some may title it, but once she started it only got worst. As the years past, each child took a different path. Homeless and prostituted I was forced to become an adult. Being a mother my self I have learned to comprehend the difficulty of raising a child; however I do not excuse her behavior. I have struggled incessantly to forgive her, and now that I am able to tell her so, she is not able to hear it. RIP Rosa Alvarez.
