Songs From A Place of Wasteful Grace

About the Book

Over seven years ago I came to know the wastefulness, or gross extravagance of God’s grace. From within this place of wasteful grace I came to know the God of all grace. Out of my relationship with Him and my quest to come to know Him came a myriad of words which comprise the works of this book. It is as much His as mine as I would never have written them without His love and inspiration. My hope is that they will minister to you in such a way that it will encourage you in your relationship with God. If you don’t know Him yet, I hope they will draw you to the God of my heart and the lover of mankind, Jesus Christ. In the last seven years there have been people in my life whom God put there to encourage me. They helped me to see that authoring a book was not only possible but not impossible as well. Their love and confidence in my gifting stirred within me the strength to publish the book you now hold. I want to thank a Canadian friend and fellow writer, Tina Timchuck. She inspired one of my poems with her witty words and her love for my Jesus. Of all those who have encouraged me I wish to dedicate this book to Melinda Deem. She is one of those who have gently and lovingly nudged me with words of wasteful grace. She has given me gifts from her heart that would say to me, “You will publish this book. Nothing can stop you.” I have seen her as she lives in the wastefulness of God’s grace. She is my best friend, encourager and confidant.
