Poky and Pogly Elves Birthday Cake

About the Book

Poky and Pogly are two cute little elf brothers. On Mama Elf’s birthday, Papa Elf sends her flowers. The elf brothers are happy to see the flowers. They also want to do something special for Mama Elf.

They decide to make a cake for her. They make the “cake” with a can of salt, truck full of sand and a bottle of vanilla. Little Pogly puts a small stick in the middle of the “cake” for a candle and there, they have the “cake” ready. Mama Elf smiles and gives a big hug to Poke and Pogly on seeing the “cake”. Later on, both elf brothers help Mama Elf to clean the mess from the “cake”. They all sing Happy Birthday to Mama Elf.

That is a very special day for Mama Elf.

About the Author

By profession, I am a Registered Nurse Practitioner in California. I grew up surrounded by books. This is my second book in a series of six books about the Elf Family. My three grandsons are my inspiration for creating these books. They are five, three and one year old. I use the names of Poky, Pogly and Putu as term of endearment for my grandsons. These books give the kids a sense of family, relationship, love, respect and art of sharing. I have enjoyed writing these books as much as my grandsons have enjoyed listening to these books.
