About the Book

Ananse stories are shared among Ghanaian families for entertainment and to teach morals and cultural values to children and adults alike. This particular one was my favorite as a child and I decided to share with my son Mark. Mark also enjoyed this story so much he often requested that I tell him the story over again. As he got older he suggested that we write our Ananse story so the whole world can enjoy it too.

About the Author

Charlotte Vdovychenko was born and raised in Ghana West Africa. Her family relocated to England when she was a teenager. She completed high school in Kent England and College at TCU in Fort Worth Texas. She married her Russian husband and they have one son. Today she is the Director of Laboratory Services in Dallas Texas.
