Open Your Eyes And Listen is a collection of poetry and photography to awaken and explore the realities of life, and the truth about ourselves. Life is like a map. It’s a journey filled with bridges, obstacles, and roads. It starts at one point, and hopefully, by correcting mistakes and making the right choices, you will get to your destination. The inspirational messages found in this book, can help you when trying to understand why things happen the way they do. Getting through pain and loss is the most difficult to accept. Learning that “For every negative, there is a positive”, and believing that “Everything happens for a reason”, will help you when searching for ways to get through the difficult times. Applying this knowledge will bring you closer and closer to the common goal we all share, which is, “The desire for love, peace, happiness, and fulfillment”.

About the Author

Carol is married, and lives in Southold, New York with her husband Barry and their dog Honey. Together with her husband, they own a successful security business. Her enjoyment for poetry and photography is just two of her many loves. She plays piano, sings, and writes her own music. Giving, sharing, kindness, and helping people in need is very important to her. Simple pleasures is what makes her happy, as well as enjoying time spent with family and friends. Her hope is that this book will inspire all her readers to make positive changes in their lives.
