About the Book

Short Heavenly Prayers was written one prayer at a time and is a devotional reader. The short prayers are for anyone who desires to engage in prayer even if they have a very busy schedule. Anyone who prays the prayers as a daily devotional will keep on praying and will eventually discover that God hears short prayers and answers them. The goal of Short Heavenly Prayers is to help the reader establish the habit of praying and keep the lines of communication open with God, the Almighty Heavenly Father.

About the Author

Juanita Alaniz Montemayor was born in Rio Hondo, Texas. She earned a B.S. in elementary education at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas and a M. Ed as a Reading Specialist in Abilene Christian University at Abilene, Texas. She was the wife of a United Methodist Church Preacher. When he passed away and she retired as a teacher, she too, worked as a Pastor. She is the mother of six children and after being a widow for ten years, she remarried and lives in Fort Worth, Texas.
