About the Book

LET’S REVITALIZE CHRISTIANITY is a book designed to give people what I have heard many folks ask for: How can Christianity give me a better way of life? It is designed to give a different slant to Christianity than one would get in a sectarian church, and it is based entirely on the New Testament of the New International Version of the Holy Bible.

After a brief introduction many problems in our society are mentioned to which the existing churches do not seem to give solution or closure.

Since many folks have given up attending church, we give good reasons why attending church is a good thing for us. What is fellowship, and how can we painlessly learn to love someone we don’t really care very much about?

Why is Jesus is known as the Prince of Peace? And can all of us be Princes and Princesses of Peace?

We share a small study of prayer, and how we can help prayer work. There are two extremely important New Testament prayers. We show how the Lord’s Prayer can be a guide to effective living, and we show how the Gethsemane Prayer is the birth of Christianity, and how it instills in all of us what Jesus wants for our interactive relationship with Him and with God.

What is freedom? And what’s the formula for achieving freedom?

A short epilogue sums up the entire revitalization concept.

And fi nally, we give a scriptural account of the life of Christ simply as an item of interest. For example, we cite Christ’s lineage as reported in Luke 3:23 - 38.

All Christians should cherish this book.

About the Author

Warren F. Hannas has experienced life much the same way as many folks today who don’t enjoy going to church for a myriad of reasons. He grew up attending church; he abandoned the church, because it didn’t supply the spiritual growth he needed. Then he was thrust into a situation where he was called upon to lead his friends in a religious, Christian outlook. His source was the Bible, and his self-directed studies followed a need to learn about various phases of the religion. He was Christian Emphasis leader to members of the Midwest Region of Y’s Men International clubs in Y M C A’s in his charge as International Director. The Bible supplied a deep understanding of Christianity that even modern churches do not give. Rather than to abandon the church this time, he became a certified Lay Speaker in the Tennessee Conference of the Methodist Church to share Christianity with everyone.
