About the Author

Born in Elwood, Indiana. I attended Wendell L. Wilkie High School. I graduated and moved on to Christian College for Women, Columbia, Missouri. After graduation, I married Lt Charles L. Brown and spent the next twenty-two years as an Air Force wife and mother to four children. During this time period, I wrote for various publications From feature articles to 'Bombeck' type articles covering my children's antics, to a column on advertising Later, I wrote features for a newspaper in the Florida area. When I married my second husband, Paul knew I wanted to write a novel. He believed wholeheartedly in people living out their dreams. His encouragement was all I needed. His death was a blow but his memory lives on. I'm planning to write another novel. And I know he'd say, "Go for it!" I hope this book will not only excite the reader, but lift the hearts of those who read it.
