About the Author

Don McMurry grew up in Jefferson City, Missouri, where he played high school football under the legendary John V. “Pete” Adkins, the second winningest coach in the nation. He earned All-State honors his senior year then went to Wake Forest University where he played with Brian Piccolo, John Mackovic, Bob Grant and Jimmy Clack. McMurry has ministered as a pastor and associational missionary for thirty-seven years in Ohio and Missouri. He is the father of three, grandfather of eight and lives with his wife of forty years, Norma, in Fairborn, Ohio.
