A journey began with the calling of Daniel Woodall to become a part of the Army of Tennessee, Confederate States of America. Daniel leaves behind his beloved wife, Catherine, and their ten-month-old son, Joseph. Daniel’s and Catherine’s lives are forever changed as they go “Forward with Courage,” strengthened always by their unwavering faith in Almighty God.

About the Author

Patsy Catherine Costanza grew up on a farm in Northern Louisiana. She often heard her parents and grandparents talk about their families and the many relatives that fought and died in the Civil War. They often visited old cemeteries where Civil War ancestors were buried. Patsy grew up pondering how her family survived this awful time in American History. The fruits of her older sister, Azalea’s, genealogy search lead to this historical novel. Patsy now resides in Baden, Pennsylvania, a small town north of Pittsburgh.
