About the Book

This book is comprised of many writings, covering many years, that will have you exploring a wide range of emotions. It’s particularly significant considering the wide range of emotions the author was experiencing when writing them. Traits like longing, regret, anger, sorrow, frustration, and the like, are clearly reflected throughout. Most readers will readily identify with the raw impact they have on everyday living. That’s the reason for the title. It shows a steady progression which ultimately led the author to a freedom that cannot be taken away. A freedom to believe. A freedom to embrace aspects of his person that are stronger than the steel used to hold him. The desires in a man’s heart in spite of being confronted with seemingly insurmountable odds. The power of the mind! The power of love!

About the Author

Ahmed R. Rucker is thirty-seven years old and from Baltimore, Md. He has a general studies degree from Baltimore City Community College, where he graduated number one in his class. He initially embraced writing as an outlet to express the many conflicting thoughts that were going through his head. He was serving a lengthy prison sentence when they were conceived. He is currently working on his first novel, as well as, Tru 2 Life part II. He’s also started a company also called Tru 2 Life Sentiments, P.O.
