About the Book

During the day, Leslie Blakely is a thoroughly modern woman. She has a successful career as Vice President of Amalgamated Inc. She has been married to Kirk for over 16 years and they have two daughters, Becky age 15 and Angel age 9. They live in a comfortable home in the State of Ohio. At night, however, her dreams are filled with the sweetness of old fashioned rose hedges, the aroma of baking bread, and a house filled with a dozen rooms of beautiful, old fashioned furniture, and hand sewn quilts. Suddenly, her real life begins to change. Her husband, Kirk, looses his job and goes to New England to find work. He finds work and a place for them to live - an old house. Once there, her day time life and her night time life begin to merge. Somehow Leslie's dream begins to alter, and she experiences wide awake visions. Her life changes from peace to passion, terror, and perhaps even murder.

About the Author

Dixie Adamkiewicz was born in Kentucky, raised in Ohio, attended the University of Cincinnati, and served in the Women’s Army Corp during the Vietnam Era. She has always been a dreamer of dreams and a teller of stories. The Lighthouse Keeper is one of these stories. She now lives in a small town in Kentucky. When she isn’t writing, she enjoys spending time with her husband Lewis, her children, grandchildren, and great-grand child.
