About the Author

Charles Spencer was born in Richmond Virginia on December 4, 1973 at Medical College of Virginia Hospital. My mother is Margaret Yvonne James. I have two sisters by the name of Aokie James and Melissa Spencer. I have four children who names are Charles, Jamel, Christian and Tyler. I am a type of individual that loves and believe in God and without God's support their is no hope for the strength of today's family. My personal interests are chess, sports and writing. My family and friends call me "Yum". I wanted to write "Black Pain" to express some trials, tribulations from the pain I have seen in my time. I hope my writing doesn't offend anyone only to help and let the reader understand that the experiences they may have gone threw they are not alone. In closing I would like to thank my mother Margaret James for always believing in me and encouraging me to follow my dreams, my sisters Aokie and Melissa for standing by my side, my aunts and uncles for listing to my words before they were born on paper for the world to see, Ms. Norma for always being in my corner and my readers in which I hope enjoys the literature of my book.
